Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat can I expect at a worship service? We typically begin by singing a hymn, listening to readings from the Bible, and then a sermon. We take the time to greet each other during the service, we pray for our community and for the world, and then we have communion (bread and wine) together. The order of the service is printed in the bulletin, and is easy to follow along. Back to TopWhat ministries are in place for my children at St. Mark's?There are many great learning opportunities and activities for your children here. The Workshop Rotational Model is being implemented for Sunday School which includes a wonderful new Art Creation Room and Story Telling Oasis. The next initiative for this model is the design and building of a small movie theatre. Stay Tuned! There is also a large nursery at St. Mark's filled with lots of great toys for babies and toddlers, and every Sunday there is a children's message during the worship service when children are invited to the front for a special story. St. Mark's also has an active youth group for young people aged 13-19. This group meets regularly, often takes part in joint activities with youth groups from other churches, and they even have their own "Youth Loft". Bring your kids and check it out!
